Corey Bingaman is a Graduate Student Research Assistant with the Bureau of Business and Economic Research (BBER), Forest Industry Research Program at the University of Montana. He holds a BS in Forest Operations Management and a minor in Business and Entrepreneurship from Oregon State University. Most recently, Corey has gone back to school as a candidate for Masters of Business Administration at the University of Montana with an expected graduation of spring 2018.

Prior to working at the BBER, Corey worked for six years as a consulting forester. His career has allowed him to work in every region of the Western United States in virtually every aspect of timber management. These include: sale administration, timber sale layout, inventory design and compilation, growth and yield modeling, road design, and cartography. Living in Missoula as a husband and new father, Corey is also an active member of the University of Montana Hurling Team who earned a Collegiate Hurling National Championship in 2017.
