The mission of Montana KIDS COUNT is to improve the quality of life for Montana’s children and families by collecting and disseminating data that will advance awareness of the issues face by this population. We examine data and policy trends in areas such as demographics, education, economic wellbeing, risk behavior, and safety. Montana KIDS COUNT envision every program and policy decision that touches the lives of children and families in the state being based in thorough data research and evaluation to ensure that Montana children are allowed to grow up and reach their full potential as adults.

To assist in achieving this goal, the KIDS COUNT research team can be consulted to provide specialized data research and analyses; program evaluation; data management; meeting facilitation; policy analyses; and media interviews.
